anything above 70 is to hot, at least if you want your part to last.

Is the new official 1409 bios different from the Beta 1409? I guess not, but can someone confirm?

Great guide, very accurate! I am one of the lucky ones with a chip that tops out at 5.7Ghz (and some change) and discovered it runs best with my waterchiller over a straight up SS.

Use a FAT 32 formatted flash drive.

Great guide, I've got my 2600k D2 at 48. One problem though.. And it does this at 4.5 and 4.6 also when I was OCing before reading this. I get BSOD'd when I run prime after 30 min or so, it passes the small packet test a few times before it happens. Could this be a ram problem or something? the temps are high but within range at 4.8. 77 - 78c full load. Any idea what would cause this? It's quite annoying. I was at 1.425 vCore, I just upped it to 1.430 and im trying again, but the fact that it's happened at multiple lower OC's yet still manages to boot and run Prime for 30 min makes me curious...

    EDIT:
Fwiw, im running an a70, and on the factory boxed BIOS.
