You didn't specifically mention your current nVidia driver version. Are you having issues with it?
Ideally, the best nVidia driver for a particular laptop is the one running w/o issues,
regardless of what driver version is installed. There are instances when even the
latest driver update could cause some problems.
In addition, computer usage vary from user to user. For example, a "basic" user may
be satisfied with even the stock nVidia driver, while a gaming enthusiast or an
advanced user might opt for a later driver update, for the best optimal usage-
especially to some games or programs.
I've used that nVidia driver 301.42 WHQL for some time, and it worked well with my G74.
I'm currently on the 304.48 BETA, and, still, the experience is satisfactory, up until now.
I saw the 3rd link you gave (ATK Package update). It could be an update, but I suggest you
update your ASUS-based drivers only from the G53SX download site, to avoid possible
driver conflict. But if I were you- and I wasn't experiencing any issue with the ATK driver,
I would stick to the current driver that's working well for me. This is one instance where
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" dictum is applicable.
As for the nVidia drivers, you have plenty of driver options to choose from, and find the one
most suitable, according to your computer usage. The latest update may bring out the best
on our laptops. But it may also bring an adverse effect.
