@ BulletSponge ... I just got mine today... That L adapter is awesome! Snug fit on the AC adapter so I dont take it off anymore and fits just right when you plug it in the laptop, slides all the way in without resistance which is cool so less wear on the power port and if someone trips on the adapter im sure my G73 wont come flying with it hehehe...

And one of the cool part is the L adapter is shaped with sharp edges so it kinda matches the G73...

The L adapter should be a must for every G73 G53 owners!

I hope the 180W AC adapter I ordered to fits the same way...

Wow, nice find. I had to bite on this as well. Only thing I miss about going from the G51 to the G53 was the power cord being plugged into the side instead of the back. Thanks for this.

I'm glad that I was able to help. But I have one question, am I the only person who gets some tiny sparks every time they plug their brick into their G series? I noticed it a week ago and while it has caused no problems it IS a bit disconcerting to say the least. BTW, I tried it with and without the L-tip and got the same results.

There are always sparks when the air gap is small enough between two different electrical charges. As long as the ground is the wall and not you I don't think it should be a problem.
