Ever since yesterday my computer has been running slow and youtube was stuttering. I decided to look into the problem and downloaded CPU-Z, windows is only detecting one of my cores. I tried to change the setting with msconfig but I can only select 1 core to boot from.I tried system restore but to no avail. I really need someones help this is really weird.

T_a_B ... relax.
"Ever since yesterday.."? hehehe
How long is ur G up and running ? Since January..Feb.?
Clean it out.
Go through Programs and Features in Control Panel .. and delete the junk
you dont use. (Tool bars ... ect.)
Go to run (enable it in taskbar properties if it is not) Msconfig>StartUp Tab...
It is choked.

You could simply do a system restore point .. if you were confident of when it started.

HiJackThis is also 'fun'.

Better still back up the files you 'need' to save.
and do a fresh install...Best of Luck.c.

You could try disabling core parking to see if it makes a difference.
