Asus G74Sx Backpack!

I know there are a few threads about the backpack, but they didn't seem to talk about the backpack I wanted to get. So I looked at Asus eStore and found this Asus ROG G73 Backpack. http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=894 I wonder if G74 would fit into this backpack. If you have used G73 before and currently use (or have used) G74, are the dimension of these two laptop different so much?

I have ordered two laptop cases and neither of them fit the laptop so I had to return them and got charged for $30 total. That's why I don't want to order it and end up returning it for the third times. I tried to contact the Asus store but then they closed. I desperately need a backpack for it.

FYI, I don't like those too big backpack like this one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834995958&nm_mc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r&cm_mmc=OTC-pr...). I just want the one that fit nicely and not too loose.

Or if anyone have used ASUS ROG G2 Backpack http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=908. It says it fits 17inch laptop, but I'm not completely sure if 17.3 would fit too.

On the contrary, there are quite a number of backpack threads in the Forum.
Here are some them:

http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?3516-G74-Backpack-Selection&highlight=backpack

A number of us here own that G73 ROG backpack you referenced (me included).
And it's a good fit for the G74. Check this:http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?10103-Photos-G74-inside-ROG-Shuttle-Backpack&p=106612&viewf...

Now, that's a nice looking one, too. I don't have it, so can't vouch for it.

I bought this backpack for my G74 about 2 weeks after getting the laptop. It fits snugly but is well padded and there is a surprising amount of room for extras (I pack in it two external HDDs, two mice, cables, an extra AC adaptor, pens, glasses, and several USB sticks whereever I go). There is even room for a second laptop in there: a couple weeks back we took a trip and I packed my G74 in it and my wife's ASUS N53SN 15.6" laptop in there two, with both adaptors. It was heavy but the G73 backpack is sewn so strongly that it has lasted such abuse for months now.

Thank Fostert. I'm going to order it today.

Howdy, fostert..

Not sure if you have read this thread. But the OP is asking about Ubuntu.
No idea about it, so I thought you might know about it and give some input:

Thanks Pilgrim! I love to chat up fellow Linux users with the G74 and help them get their machines to a perfect state with all bell and whistles working (which admittedly takes more work than Windows). Responded.

Thanks Asus Guy. I saw that backpack too, but I'm not into any huge and many compartments backpack. But thanks for sharing though 😉
