I finally got my second GPU, new PSU and cables installed. Yes, I know there is a bit of ugly behind the HDD cage. There just isn't a ton of room in the back of this case to hide all the cables that I need to and was really more worried about what could be seen with the side door on. Besides, I'm contemplating replacing this case with a Phanteks Enthoo Pro since it is the same size as this Antec case and will hide all the ugly LOL. What do you guys think?
I'd rather be a smartass than a dumbass!!!

Hi This my gaming/work Rig just built trying to sort out some minor heat issues before I put in my second GPU.

That is a really sweet rig you have there. Might the heating issues be due to the PSU being so close to the first GPU, thus causing a hotspot in the system? Maybe if you could move the GPU down further, or more the PSU away from the GPU fan intake, that would help with the cooling.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

Hey Zygomorphic,
Thanks but Im along way off most of the members here specs
My heating issues are only with my northbridge chipset IOH above all the PCIx16 slots just to the left of the memory, when i put it together temps were 85C but after removing the heatsink and re-applying the TIM ive got it down to 73C at idle. still not happy with that so going for water cooling
just for the motherboard, the rest of my rigs temps are acceptable 30/40C.
Ive got a second GPU to put in yet but not happy to do it until the Northbridge is lower temps.
cheers.

RatePirate.
Try just putting your hand in the case and feeling around for a hotspot. Hot air (as Zygo said) could be the cause of this.Say hi to the next generation.

Hi Antroman, I put my hand in and the only heat is coming from the chipset block but doesnt feel too hot to the touch.
It came with 2 motherboard heatsinks the stock ROG one with a little fan, and a Water cooling block that also covers same area. Ive tried removing and re-applying TIM on both but all that did was bring the temps down from 85C to the current 73C. ive check screws and the tightness of the heatsinks
So my question is can anyone recommend a water cooling kit that i can add to the block i have already to get the temps down further.
This is my first move into water cooling so I have no idea where to start.
I think I need a reservoir and a pump and some pipes that fit into my northbridge/southbridge block? I have a Cooler Master HAF 922 case and plenty of room in the 5" inch bays also the case has 2 holes in the back top which I assume are for mounting water cooling.
All my other temps are acceptable to me 30/40C its just the northbridge im concerned about. (maybe later I will water cool everything but i thought i would start with this)
so what basic water cooling bits will i need get my block doing what its meant for.
Thanks in advance for your help.
