RAM Upgrading and Questions About Timing

Hey all, first time poster, long time Asus consumer. I have a G73JH (with i7-720QM) and it has Kingston 6gb (3x2gb) of RAM that are PC3 1333 (10600) DDR3. It's currently running 9 CL @ 666.7 mhz. Is 9 CL good? Is it safe to adjust the timings? So I really dont know all that much about RAM and the timings and such. What would be considered a high performance CL/timings? I'm lookin to upgrade another 2gb. What would you all recommend for me to get? I found this 2gb stick on newegg for a very cheap price (which is kind of concerning lol). Any kind of help would be awesome!

If you're just adding one more stick you can just use the same type that's already there.

If you replace all of it, and you can find compatible RAM modules with lower latency then you might get a little performance benefit. Whether or not it will be noticeable, I don't know...

Yes, Kingston Value RAM is cheap. Also pretty reliable, especially for the price! May not be good for extreme overclockers, but for normal use it works great.
