ASUS G53SW CATASTROPHE! Im freaking out.

Hello everyone,

Today I finally received my ASUS G53SW-A1 in the mail and immediately began to load it up to finally enjoy what I have been anticipating for so long...

And then everything goes wrong.

My backlit keys will not light up

My Power4Gear widget thingy that shows the current mode the computer is in (Heavy usage, power saver, etc.) is grey

None of the drivers ive tried installing have worked.


EDIT: Every time I restart the computer, I get the following two messages: "ATK0100 Request: You have to Install ATK0100 Driver", and "P4G: This program can only be executed on the ASUS computer"
Help me please! Im freaking out here!

I at least can tell you those ATK drivers can be downloaded from ASUS website

You can grab the ATK 1.0.0008 package easily from my Driver's link below. In fact you can get your updated drivers from there. 🙂

Ok so heres how it was resolved. Apparently the OS on my G53 was improperly installed and was messing with the drivers so I needed to re-install the OS. This pretty much fixed everything.
