Chino, you came to the right place! Please, start with reading the stickies in the mobo section first... be sure that you understood everything, if you have questions, just ask... - then we can take it from there...

I don't have any world records under my belt but I do have some prior overclocking experience. lol So i'm not starting from zero or anything.

My questions are more HWBOT related than Overclocking at the moment. lol Despite reading this thread from start to end, I still don't understand its complicated point system.

For example, I submitted Entry 1 for Heaven. Say I got better, and then submitted Entry 2 for Heaven.Does the system automatically pick the higest one?

Once an entry is submitted, can I go back to change the details of a component? In one of your entries I saw you added a whole lot of detail for your VGA. And in mines I only had the model. LOL

The benchmarks that generate global points, is the most common to run..

    Not all gives global points..

And 3d mark 06, i think is very easy, and a good starter... (low gpu load), easy cpu test), can be ram demanding, at the butterflies/forest.

yes. proxycon is around max 70% load, if i am not terrible wrong.. so you will be able to get kinda high on the core.

Dragon/canyon is a bit harder on the gpu, and if you get past that one, it rarely fail, in the last test (snowy polar heaven?)

I don't have the right cooler to OC the processor right now, so I just ran some of the more GPU intense benchmarks lol. I'll try the 3d mark 06 when I get home.

Well, you have to know that the 3D benchmarks (the GPU intense ones) do require high CPU speeds too... but of course, you can see how high your graphics card is going and then, when you get a better cooling for your CPU, you can up that too...
