Hi
I have a G53JW-A1 too. I had mentioned about the missing keystroke problem in my laptop and Chastity had asked me to download bios 211 and the latest ATK package. I alre downloaded the latest Bluetooth driver and also the latest realtek audio and hdmi drivers along with the synaptic drivers. Now, my doubts are:
1. Will i have the missing keyboard backlight problem if i flash my bios? If so, how will i get that fixed?
2. In order for me to install all the latest drivers, do i have to uninstall the old drivers first or can i just run the setup without uninstalling the old drivers and it'll replace the old ones with the new one? If i have to uninstall it, how do i go about uninstalling it?
3. I also downloaded the new nvidia Verde something. The problem is, i don't know what that is. Can you tell me what it is and whether i should it.
4. I also downloaded the usb 3.0 fresco whql and driver. Do i just install it as it is?
Sorry for the noob questions. I'm just a bit scared cuz i blew a bit of money on it (I'm a student and all my pocket money is on it) and so I'm scared of messing around with it. Please do help me out.
