G75VW Straight out of the box questions.

Hey everyone just singed up here. So hello!

Got some questions though =(.

So I just unpacked my G75 that I got from work, now I'm not a pc freak so not very good about these tech info.

Looked up the specs online and apparently it comes with 3D(?) On the bottom left of my laptop it says "3DTV PLAY" Does thismean I need to plug it in my TV to be able to watch 3D? My pc did not come with any 3D glasses so I'm guessing that my screen does not have 3D capabilities. Also I got two filters in the package for the fans. Do I need to put these on manually or are they replacements?

All I can say about my pc if it helps is that it has the following:

i7 ivy core something something
Nvidia GTX 670M 3GB
16 or 17GB of ram

Thanks for your time on before-hand Niclas Westlake

all g-series are 3d-capable (more info here). 3d models normally come with glasses.

to find out whether your model is 3d-ready, you can check out the white sticker at the side of your box and look for the line "LCD" something something. if there is "3D" in that line, that means your model has a 3d display monitor and with a 3d glasses, you can watch 3d.

the filters are replacements.

Darnit! Didn't get the 3D version then.

Thanks for the quick and helpful answer mate!
