I have the Maximus V Extreme mobo and I'm getting all of my hardware in-house and nearing the point of putting everything together. I ordered at set of Corsair Dominator GT 32Gb ram (4x8), part # CMT32GX3M4X1866C9, (XMP) per the mobo manual's QVL list. However, that listing in the manual states "version 3.23". I asked for that version, but when it got here, it is actually "version 8.22". I am assuming that version 8.22 is newer than version 3.23 ? My question is, should I RMA this and get the correct ram modules, or am I good to go with this set? Thank you for any help!
