Suggestions on Optimizing PB278Q for gaming

Hey Guys,

I just got a PB278Q and have really enjoyed just how much better everything looks on the monitor from games to working in AutoCAD and ArcGIS. However, I have noticed that during gameplay (mainly BF3). Things in dark areas of the map seem too dark. On my old monitor I could see a little bit in those dark places, but right now it is pretty much pitch black until I get really close whereas before I could just make things out. For example, a guy wearing all black kit, I could make him out on my old monitor, but on the PB278Q he is almost, if not, completely invisible until I get really close.

I know this is just a image setting thing on the monitor, but I am not the best way to solve this problem. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
