I got my new 7970 matrix today. Switched card, reinstalled latest AMD driver and GPU tweak. Everything was fine untill I turn off 2D mode in GPU tweak.

My monitor was going to sleep mode. I reboot the system, but before the widows post, I lost display again.

Tried used other dispaly port; Tried Matrix safe mode; Tried use another hard drive with Windows, no signal at all.

Then I tried switch back to my old 7970, everything was fine, I went into windows, uninstalled GPUtweak, switched back to matrix and boot..........still no signal...............

Are there any way to fix this, or I had to RMA my new card to newegg?

At any time during this did you try and turn the 2D back on ?
What were the clock setting when you turned the 2D off ?
I would reset all the GPU Tweak settings with the old card in place then shut the system down then switch cards and put the Matrix back in with the GPU Tweak still at default settings with 2D back on and you should get the signal back !
edit: you can also try swapping the cards with a older version of GPU Tweak in place.

Thank you.I use my old card and then use driver sweeper remove all drivers, instal matrix and reinstall drivers. Issue fixed.

Have you used driver sweeper or similar software to completely remove remnants from older drivers?
