I'm affraid that overclocking is out of my skill set, so I'm going to have to rely on the factory settings.

Actually overclocking is pretty simple especially for the gpu, except mine, it's mentally retarded.

Actually, the EVGA's look pretty good stock. The core clock is 1006MHz and the boost clock is 1084MHz. I'm assuming that they're factory OC'd.

The base booster clock of 670 is 980. I have mine on 1100. and will increase it when my gou stops being a retard.

I'm not terribly worried about it. The most demanding games that I currently play are Bioshock, Batman AC, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Guild Wars 2. The monitor I listed is 1920 x 1080, but I use my Samsung 32" HDTV as a monitor most of the time. Which will be better to connect the tv to the GPU, HDMI or PC input? It has both.

HDMI input if I'm not wrong, I don't know that much about monitors.

I'm curious if I am going to have problems with hardware/software/games if I go with Windows 8 as my OS. I haven't seen anything yet in researching this build that shows Windows 8 as supported.

The MVF should be Win 8 supported. Check here for what's supported: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...Language=en-US
The GPU, CPU and Mobo is supported in windows 8
