South Korean overclocker NAMEGT smashes the 8GHz barrier in style, clocking 8176.47 MHz with all eight cores and both DDR3 channels fired up on his AMD FX 8350 under Liquid Nitrogen. The ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard pumped 1.932V through its veins, using a 29x multiplier and base clock of 281.94 MHz.
Yeap, that's a nice result! We're getting there too... soon... 🙂 Right now just learning... you know, by participating in the challenge HiVizMan organized for us... Couple more of those and the ROG Supreme OC will be ready to attack world records!
Awesome! Now that is some serious clock speed...until you remember that IBM and Intel created 100 Ghz transistors... lol :p. Except said graphene transistor does not work as a logic transistor. 😞
