ROG at PAX PRIME Event Recap! NOT 56k friendly!!
We are finally back from PAX PRIME and I must say, it was a BLAST! About 100k people showed up and as always, we try and and step up our game and show you the latest and greatest. For those of you who got to come out or watched us on our live stream, thank you for your support! For those of you who missed out, here are some photos to recap our weekend!
A tour of our booth!
- We had Live overclocking demos in both Intel Z68 and AMD 990 chipsets running GTX 570, 580 and matrix all the way up to 4 way SLI!
Going across our desktops, we have our Powered by ASUS systems that were featured in the PAX Prime giveaway!
- Falcon Northwest with their frag box was setup for Super Street Fighter 4
- Newegg's THOR DIY system ran Duke Nukem
- IBUYPOWER's PALADIN ran Call of Duty
- Digital Storm Black Ops ran SHIFT 2
- Cyberpower Xtreme FTW ran Starcraft 2
- Darthbeavis' system ran Monday Night combat
We also showed off our line of G series notebooks, recently released G74Sx and G53Sx
Mif was able to show off his E.B.R.T Rig in our booth running DIRT 3. This Rig really drew a crowd. Running a Maximus IV Gene and 2 GTX560 in SLI, it was able to power 3 40inch displays for a immersible gaming experience.
We also had a wall for user to leave a mark/sign for ROG's 5 year anniversary!
And finally, we showed off MARS II which made everyone who held it in their hands drool! Next to it, we showed off our Maximus IV Extreme and a blank PCB so you can see the before and after of the product design phase. and we cant forget about our All in ones and our Tablets! We had the OC team using the tablets to overclock using ROG connect and loaded a bunch of games and apps onto some transformers for people to get their tablet gaming on.

A bunch of people left some cool designs on the All In One PC
Racing Simulator playing Dirt 3!! This rig always had a crowd with a long line waiting to play. Not only did you get to race on this crazy thing, but the fastest Lap of the day won a GTX560 TI DirectCU II!
Gamers at PAX LOVE Team Fortress 2! It will never get old.
Everyone at PAX knows about overclocking, but very few have ever seen extreme overclocking with liquid nitrogen, and even fewer have ever gotten to play games on an LN2 rig. The Nemesis and V2-V3 used the Crosshair V Formula running 4 way GTX570 showing off the native SLI support for AMD chipsets, and Maximus IV Extreme-Z showing off the Z68 chipset with the Matrix 580!
Who is this clown?
We also showed of our new ROG Vulcan Headset which feature active noise cancellation.
People leaving their mark on our 5 year anniversary wall
People checking out our Eee slate and Eee Pad Transformers
And finally, people winning some cool hardware from our many activities!
Enjoy~
