Audio enhancement problem

Greetings to the forum. Windows 7 (64 bit) is reporting a "AUDIO ENHANCEMENT PROBLEM" when I right click on the Windows speaker icon in the lower system tray to switch from speakers to SPDIF or headphones. I get this;

"Windows has detected that enhancements for the following device are causing problems"

"Speakers (Asus Xonar Phoebus Audio device)"

"Would you like to disable driver enhancements for this device"
YES or NO

No other audio drivers are present on my system and the latest and correct Asus BETA drivers are installed.

I am using Logitec Z5500 speakers

Any ideas for a fix for this ?

Thanks, Buster.

Did you skip "Reboot" at the end of installation process? That will cause this issue...

The final step of the installation process tells you not to restart and suggests you restart later. However, I deleted the drivers and reinstalled again and ignored the restart message and restarted after install, problem solved !!!

Well, I believe once ASUS release the WHQL-signed driver this reboot step won't be necessary. Before then you should.
