What could be the problem for this? Also, I fixed my keyboard problem.

I have to ask, but did you make sure to install the latest video drivers?

None of the drivers from the Asus product list worked for my video card on Windows 8. I installed the Windows 8 drivers for the GTX 560M from Nvidia's website which seem to have worked fine. The nvidia control panel works and everything.

Juuuust not the HDMI

With the HDMI cable plugged in and the TV/Monitor on, Try pressing the Windows key + P, it should bring up a menu asking if you want to have it displayed on Monitor 1 only, Monitor 2 only, Duplicate, or Extended. Try clicking extended and see what that does

No dice there either. Normally in Windows 7 it would make a USB plug in noise. I get nothing on this. When I try nothing happens.

It sounds like you gave it a good shot. It could be just one of those quirky upgrade issues. If you can Windows System Restore back to the time before you ever installed the NVIDIA driver, try that and then install the latest NVIDIA BETA. Or start over and try a clean Windows 8 installation.

Welp installing the Nvidia BETA didn't work either. After so much hope lol Oh well, I guess I will have to live without it.

If anyone has a workaround or this issue, please let me know.

Yeah, not sure what to tell you. My HDMI worked fine after the intial Win 8 install and still does several driver updates later. I think as has been suggested earlier, you might want to undo the upgrade or do a clean install (just remember to backup everything first!).
