Microphone problem

I got a problem using ThunderFX with my headset, it detects my speakers but not my microphone.
My motherboard detects my headsets microphone just fine.
My headset is a Sennheiser PC360 G4ME. What could be the cause of this problem?

Does anybody have an idea of what might cause this problem?

Since when did this happen?

Since the day I bought the device

No clue how to solve this problem?

Many things can cause this, did you check your microphone as default under (right click windows mixer- recording devices) and then select the device's microphone jack as default.

If this doesn't work try to reinstall driver. Otherwise I think your card may be broken.

I have checked the standard things you need to do in order to get things working.

Strange thing is, my motherboards soundcard seems to work just fine, but ThunderFX just doesn't pick up any sound. I've seen somebody with the same problem on the forum.

You could try disabling the on-board sound in the BIOS so as to force the use of the card.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Interesting thought there. Although, the sound is working just fine on my headphone, but it's just the microphone that is not working.

What would be the problem for it not to detect my microphone?
