So I was having some problem with my FPS flactuation earlier
and I've fixed it with the moded 203 bios and all gone so very
good my laptops performance was greatly boosted and my Laptop
become less noisy because of no throttle.


but I got some problem with my GPU Temperature as I played games about
2 hrs. like Batman Arkham City, Borderlands 2, or any high-end games
I get 82-84 Degree Celcius of heat almost there for a Boiling Point.
but in Idle mode got 46-54 degrees celcius depends on Room Temp.
I tried cleaning it up though I haven't tried vacuum or blower on it.
same goes to CPU temp 49-54 deg C at Idle, and about 81-86 deg C at gaming.
Any Suggestions and help is gladly appreciated.
(Note: No Overclocking used, in good care.)

Using 306.97 Nvidia atm.
GTX 560m 3GB vram 192-bit.
i7-2670qm 2.2GHz @2.2Ghz upto 3.1GHz Turbo boost.

54 C without air conditioning should be normal in Boracay, Philippines.
82-84 C at game-mode is not the critical level, but it's not a good temp, either.
Try cleaning the intake and exhaust vents. And if possible, the fans, too.

I would try my best to clean this up, but
I'm not sure how, it seems that we don't have
Pressurized Cans is not available in our Town.

But I'll try using blower instead.

hi, is cleaning the intake and exhaust vents now? how is temp now? also careful FAN speed, if any please contact with ASUS service center to check it.

I just wonder why Asus didnt design G74 with removable hatch for cleaning fan/heat sink. This rig is big and there are enough space to make hatch. This really pisses me off.
Now i just need to wory about something it is mediocre job to do (from my stand of view)!
I would recomend Asus service to clean fans/ heat sinks and repaste CPU/GPU. Since i doubt they are using high end thrml compound i would advice to buy artic silver2 and take it with your machine 2gether to Asus service.
