Windows 8 not recognizing touch pad driver

Have done clean install of Windows 8. All the FN keys work. Everything works. Except the touch pad driver. The touch pad is always on. No way of disabling it. No way of installing driver. An error stating "This driver versions is inapplicable for the touch pad. Please check the devices on the system, and then install the suitable driver."

Have tried different driver versions. Any ideas?

HI, Did you try indstall G75 touchpad driver? sorry for ASUS have not plan upgrade G74 model to Win8, so,you must be find driver by your self.
