We are giving you a 250A capable CPU VRM with this board, it should keep up with the big boys. I have my sample on the test bench now, just fired up for some Linpack with DDR3-2133 on a set of Hypers:

Win 7 SP1
I7-2600K Retail
Corsair VX1200 PSU
ASUS GTX 570
Corsair H70 CPU Cooler
Corsair Dominator GT 8-8-8-24 DDR3-2200 4GB

On the wall here for heat as this is a hot running CPU. This is without PLL OV.

Moved over to the cascade for 32M with some old OCZ memory:

Any idea when Fry's /or NewEgg is suppose to have them on shelves/online ? In searching over the internet for weeks, I was under the impression that MONDAY 27th was the day, after your ROG Formula X event, and yet nadda.
I know it's not in your control, but was just wondering IF you might have an ETA when we could buy these boards, or how much longer we need to wait.

No firm date but I have been told "late this week", so I'd say early next week (standard self-protecting disclaimers withstanding).. 🙂
