When I did clean install with windows 8 the drivers four my video driver are installed and reboot it goe's black sceen driver ver 12.10 and the same happen with 12.11 beta ver.
The video card is HIS H797F3G2M Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
I change the hdmi cable back dvi cable did not at all.

Can any body help with this.

try using the other dvi output,

Going in two safe two install windows 8 drives four video card did work at all.
Still getting error 40
The still happen with 12.10 and beta drivers 12.11
Hdmi and dvi still not work with windows 8
I have 3 different hdmi and dvi cable made buy companys.

Windows 8 Drives
