3DMark Vantage score g55 - normal or not

Hey,
i have new g55 and just ran 3DMark Vantage demo..
This is the result:

My question is, everywhere i look i can see a little better graphic results for g55 and gtx660m - cca 12000 - and i was just wondering if my results are normal or not? Recently i bought Far Cry 3 (Yes it is out in europe) - i am not really satisfied with performance and i just want to know if problem is on my side or not..

Well your core clock is only running at 405 mhz which is probably why, I suggest you overclock it to get better performance. If you have no idea how to overclock research and make sure you know what your doing before doing it. Main thing with OC'ing is to watch temps. My 660m I run at 1200mhz core and 3000mhz mem for gaming/benchmark but every GPU is a tad different.

tl;dr: your core clock is only 405 mhz which is probably why

EDIT: I ran it and got a lower score with my GPU OC'ed higher than before

thanks for reply.
i tried to monitor my core clock and now im confused, this program shows different values than 3dmark.. :confused:

I think the clocks shown on the results are a base clock because if you look at the hall of fame scores most gtx680's are at 705 core and 3500-3800 mem. With mine I force my p-state and clocks through Nvidia Inspector which is probably why mine show what it actually is. I could be completely wrong but that's my guess

he has core clock 405 so i guess everything is fine with my g55..
but damn that far cry has really bad optimization

I'm fairly certain you could smash that if you OC, even when I did mine just a little with MSI afterburner it helped a lot but I suggest you research on ocing first

hi, the test result is base on lot of factor, OS environment, compoant, install APP..etc., but usually 680 and 660 also are differenct result.

That's because i5 only have 4 way processing and is probably only dual core while i7 has 8 way and isquad
