    Hello everyone!

Just joined the forum and excited to share my experience specifically with Aura Sync as this was the main reason I went through here to get answers or share issues.

Here's a bit of info about my build:

    ☑ ASUS ROG Strix GTX1060 O6G Gaming
    ☑ ASUS ROG Claymore

    ☑ ASUS VC239H
    ☑ Intel® Core™ i5-7500 Processor
☑ DeepCool Genome ROG Certified Edition

Nothing fancy, just doing some window shopping to see what kind of luck you all are having with the 702/752/753 series ROG's.

Also was looking to see what the Win7 driver compatibility was like on the newer classes of ROG's
(with the problems I've had, I consider Win10 to still be in beta)

    Hi all,

New to the forum, been building and overclocking PC's for some time now (first overclock was a first gen Pentium 166, which I overclocked to 200MHz and that got me on the OC bandwagon).

I joined the forum as I saw the benchmark results on the Samsung 960Pro, which sadly is a M.2 drive which my ROG RIVGene MB does not support. Some digging led me here as 1 of your forum members (BOLTS4BREKFAST) has been modding the stock bios for us X79 MB owners to support these new NVMe drives through a PCIe adapter. I have to say what a community it is here, when you have people like that who spend their own time helping others to keep their gear up to date. X79 is still very powerful, but is made better with the insane speeds of NVMe M.2 drives. hats off to BOLTS.

AMD Fanboy, now with ASUS gear

Hi there, GlayZ3R here aka Michael Madsen.

An AMD Fanboy and eager Sim-Racer.
Joined this forum after buying new gear, Ryzen 7 1800X on a Crosshair VI Hero.

Want to explore the new world of overclocking / tweaking. (not to the extreme, but just to get the most out of my setup)

    My current setup:
    AMD Ryzen 7 1800X @ 3.9 GHz / 1.375v. / 100 MHz BCLK/ AMD Wraith Max cooler
ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero / BIOS 0902
    G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200C14D-16GTZ @ 2666 MHz / 1.35v. / 14.0-14-14-34-75-2T (Unable to Cold Boot at 3200 MHz)
ASUS Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II @ 1050 MHz Core Clock / 1350 MHz Memory Clock (Waiting on Radeon RX Vega)
Fractal Design Case / 4x 140mm. AKASA Viper fans for optimal airflow
    - UserBenchMark Results:

    Previous setup:
AMD FX-9590 / Corsair Hydro H80i, modified with low-noise fan
    ASRock 990FX Extreme9
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3-1866 @ 800 MHz (never got them to perform as they should)
2x XFX Radeon R9 290 Black - Double Dissipation Edition in CrossFire (bad setup from the start, a single GFX card performed better)
Fractal Design Case / 4x 140mm. AKASA Viper fans for optimal airflow
    - UserBenchMark Results:

Well, that's it for now... Looks like a good forum this.

    New G752VS-RB71 here

    Hey everyone,

I've had a G53SX for like 6 years, and that's run pretty great for Win7 gaming (I still use it to bring to work for typing), but I wanted some newer tech in my laptop and decided to just buy something new recently.

So I picked up a G752VS-RB71. Just finished the Win10 updates, bloatware uninstalls, some installs of stuff I wanted, etc. Basically haven't actually played a game on this yet, but I've gotten past most of the worrisome steps, and I checked and all my hardware is functioning how it should out of box. Can't even see a single screen bleed anywhere so I must have lucked out good there.

I modded this laptop from 16 to 32GB GSkill Ripjaw, and I installed an Intel NvME SSD 512GB for the primary. It's running real well and I'm not having any weird fans issues or kind of...really anything I've read about on the forums over the past month before buying that people have said are either things to watch out for or common with the G752 as problems/concerns. I don't know, I'm not getting my hopes super high up because things happen, but so far this laptop has been working like I expect a purchase of this cost to, and it's giving me no problems.

I did have to adjust the equalizer because like a lot of people have mentioned, the speakers without some tweaking do not sound up to par for a laptop of this price. Got it sounding pretty nice now so I'm happy about that.

I'll probably get to some game testing later and some stress tests to see what's up, but I'm not foreseeing any issues. Glad to be a member on here, and I've been using advice from on here for weeks now and it's been immensely helpful. So this is a really legit place for info.

    Catch you in the threads
