Hello, ROG world. My name is Mike, but here, I give General Chuck Yeager his due credit. Google it!
I've been into this OCing thing since the days of the original FX by AMD. I built my first machine not long after then. I've used all asus stuff from 2008, on a Crosshair 3 with a Phenom 2 in it. Oh, those were the days.

I have used a Crosshair 5 and the FX 8350 for around 5 years, and with all the work the red team is doing, it seemed like a good time to buy in. So I did. This machine has been getting hammered and tweaked for only a week, at the time of this writing. It's taking everything I throw at it, and talking trash doing it. So far, so good. Couldn't be more excited to really test it out. Next, I'll have to get a few games made after 2009...

I play videogames since many years now... PS2 / Gamecube / Wii / 3 / 4 Xbox 360 / Pc / Htc vive ( <3 )
I played also with portable consoles (DS / N3DSXL / Psp) but this time is over now...

I came to this forum to find some help for my computer.... Since months... I don't know why but the PC Software Aura just never managed to work...

If a great charitable soul could help me... It would be great (Rog Strix Z270e Gaming / MSI GTX 1080 Ti gaming X 11go / I7 7700k / 16 Gb ram Ballistix / Watercooling Bequiet AIO Silentloop 120/ Phanteks Enthoo Luxe White case... AND absolutely no device except this MOBO has RGB control over this soft, my mouse is an old Madcatz R.A.T 7 without RGB control... and my keyboard is a razer Chroma with razer synapse sofware which works perfectly since my first install...)

If some one is in my situation (Please Connect an Aura Sync device and click refresh button... directly when i open the software I can't do anything a my MOBO led is blocked on rainbow mode.. ^^ )

Hi Thank you for excepting me to ROG Forums. My Name is Dale I am 58 and live in Ohio. I managed to fry my ROG Maximus 10 WIFI motherboard. Sent it back for warranty repair and received a refurbished one . After getting it back I installed all the hardware to find out The CPU was toast as well. Intel didn't have any i7-8700k
In stock. So they sent me a $409 check FED-EX 2nd day. So when they told me that I just bought a new one. Unfortunately I ordered a i7-8700 non unlocked
I guess it's a good thing. I won't be frying this one...lol I used some setting from a youtube channel for a 5.4 Ghz overclock. Same AIO cooler and memory I had. Had it to 5.3Ghz stable when I got it in November 2017. I fell asleep while I was benching it. When I woke up she was well done. I have been building PC's since the Windows 3'11 for work groups. I have some VPN bench mark results for Tunnel Bear VPN Nord VPN And buy far the more expensive EXPRESSVPN. No comparison EXPRESS VPN 25% faster than NORD VPN I just need to find out where to post them. Any advise is welcome. I would hate to get booted on my 2nd Day.
