Greg from Buenos Aires
Hello
I am new to this forum, so I will introduce myself.
I am from California, but about 10 years ago I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I mostly use the computer for music recording and for music production. Also for web surfing and other general use.
My main instrument is guitar, but I also play bass and keyboard, and I sing a little bit.
My main audio recording software is Studio One Pro. I have lots of VST plug-ins from Waves, Fabfilter, and others. I use Addictive Drums 2 for drum tracks. I also use Band in a Box, and Amazing Slow Downer. My audio interface is an RME UCX.
I tried to put my system specs in my profile, but I can't figure out how to open up the fields to input the data. If someone can help me with how to do this, it would be great. Anyway I have a Desktop I had made in Micro Center in California when I visited in September of 2019. It has a ROG STRIX Z-390E, Intel i7-9700K, 2x16 D4 3200 Ripjaws, Corsair H801V2 liquid cooler, and several Samsung Evo SSDs. I am not so savvy about computers, but I told Micro Center I needed a fast computer with lots of memory and quiet cooling so as not to interfere with the microphone.
So that's a little about me, thanks!

Hi all, Scott here, though my friends nicknamed me Da Vinci. I've been a gamer my whole life and work in IT for a living. I've been in the field for about 8 years now working mainly as a technician. I really love Star Wars and space exploration in general. I've been getting back into playing No Man's Sky and I've recently started to play DCS World a lot. Anything to do with space and aviation I'm generally into. I'm not all that great at case modding, but it's definitely a huge interest of mine. Right now I have a Corsair Crystal 570x with a nebula type theme. Anyhow, I'm really glad to be a part of the Asus ROG community and hope to meet others with like interests!*

Hey folks,
Eric here, online gaming alias "Xejo" (pronounced ZEE-joh), or King Xejo. Family man, married with a handful of kids. Believer that Jesus Christ is who He said He was in the Bible. Military Bomb Squad Officer by trade. Free time is... anything to the extreme. Woodworking, Home Improvement, Golf, Gaming/PCs. I intend to play Amazon's upcoming MMO, "New World".
I am, however, new to overclocking and would like to give it a shot. Currently using an awesome Falcon Northwest DRX laptop (specs in profile), but building the following desktop as money permits and wife authorizes:
- i7-9700K (received!)
- EVGA RTX 2070 Super
- 32GB (4x8) Corsair Vengeance LPX (3200 MHz, 16C)
- Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Master
- Samsung SSD, PCIe M.2 1TB NVMe (received!)
- EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 Power Supply
- Fractal Design Define 7 Mid-ATX Case (received!)
- Noctua NH-U14S - Premium CPU Cooler
- ASUS ROG PG279 27" Monitor (received!)
- ASUS ROG Strix Flare RGB Keyboard, MX Cherry Brown
- ASUS ROG Gladius II Origin Wired Mouse
- SteelSeries Mouse Pad
Glad to connect up with ya'll. See you around!

Hello friends,
my alias XALIAS. For my work I have always need to have several computers in my home office, I have always trusted ASUS and have never been disappointed since the time of the PGA478 with an Asus P4P800 until today with LGA1366 and in the process of updating to LGA2066.
However, For 10 years I have not updated my LGA1366 (an Asus P6T7 WS SuperComputer) that it is time to change it.
Current team (in general terms):
- Lian Li PC-A77 box
- Asus P6T7 WS SuperComputer
- i7 960
- Cooler master V10
- 24GB (6x4) Kingston Valueram
- X3 Rack ICY BOX IB-555SSK + x1 Rack ICY BOX IB-553SSK
Equipment that I am buying to update my pc:
New components:
- Asus WS X299 Pro / Se (purchased)
- i9 10920X (purchased)
- x1 Intel® Optane HBRPEKNX0203A01 (32GB + 1Tb) (purchased)
- Cooler Corsair A500 (purchased)
- ASUS (TPM-M R2.0) (pending purchase)
- 64GB (16x4) Kingston HyperX FURY HX430C15FB3K4 / 64 (pending purchase)
- Corsair HX1200i Power Supply (pending purchase)
I am glad to belong to the forum and thus learn more with all of you.
See you ! XALIASLast edited by XALIAS; 04-30-2020 at 12:23 PM.

jD joins the community
I'm JD. i'm not a huge gamer but I recentl]y bought an ASUS GU502GV. I need the extra power to handle design (AUtocad, Solidworks, MasterCAM, etc.). I also needed plenty of storage because I'm also runnig a DAW so I can use my Maschine to produce music without my pc blowing up while trying to load hundreds of individual audio files I also play guitar and make spray paint art.
