G53SW not booting for the first time

Just got my new g53sw, and when i press the power button, the lights turn on, the keyboard lights turn off, the screen is off, nothing happens.

what should i do?

Try removing the battery *and* power, then plugging it back in? Some models also have a pinhole reset button on the bottom.

Sorry for the delay. If basic power & reset options don't do anything then you really should return it as DOA.
