Glad I could help and thanks for reporting back (+rep for that
).
You can always change fans to silent ones or you can control them via the UEFI and put them under silent profile. Also front side of the case fans should be intakes and not exhausts.. If you want you can make a thread about that in the appropriate section and we could help you with the fan configuration/orientationRAMPAGE Windows 8/7 UEFI Installation Guide - Patched OROM for TRIM in RAID - Patched UEFI GOP Updater Tool - ASUS OEM License Restorer

I might do exactly that Nodens because I would like to know if I can control fanspeed via BIOS, even if they don´t have a switch to do that...
edit: yes, front case fan is intake, cpu fan and back case fans are exhaust. PSU fan is turned upwards, intaking case air and exhausting throw its backpanel. These new Corsairs on top of the case are exhausting - shouldn´t they be blowing fresh air to the inside?

Better make a new thread cause fans would be entirely off-topic on this one.

Hi guys... long time
As planned, this weekend I´ve gone croosfire with two 7970. Added one Sapphire HD7970 to my ASUS DCII 7970 and it was simple and straight... at first boot I got a BSOD caused by catalyst controller (since it had Eyefinity on). Just removed drivers and all, installed same version (13.11 beta - 30/11/2013), rebooted and... perfect. It even got back the Eyefinity setup I had previously.
About performance is basically DOUBLE the FPS in Battlefield4 with three displays. I was playing with High/Medium graphic setup with one GPU (doing 50/80 FPS) and now I´m playing with Ultra/High graphic (doing 70-100 FPS). Smooth as butter, no stutter...
Oh, adding to it, it seems my Corsair TX-850 is handling those twins like a charm

Having Quad R9 290x is full of bugs, bad scaling.
Many games have perfect scaling but not so many and the rest of the games have very very poor scaling, sometime only two cards are at 100%.

Thank God this thread still exists.
You guys may remember how it was created, and it seems that terrible issue has returned with Hawaii GPU.
I just purchased BF4 (yes I'm an owner of two 290x cards and I had to purchase that game. Shame) and after 5-7 mins of playing my rig has instantly frozen, like in old bad times, delayed reset etc...
RIVE 4701 BIOS
4930k
2 x R9 290X
1250w PSU
5040*1050 res (3x1680*1050 eyefinity)
I hope it's just my problem, not that AMD crap again.
