Why are you using such an old RST driver?
I would update that and see if that changes anything.
    I believe 12.7 is current.

Open regedit and navigate to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winsat

Find entry named DiskScore on the right panel and tell me what's its value.

    Is that 0x00000053(83) or 0x00000035(53)?

EDIT: If it's the first. Please try version 3404 with 11.6 and 11.6/7 windows driver which is a well known working pair. This is to rule out a specific version of drivers not working properly for your drives.

Much appreciated Nodens, but No Go .. !!

I guess it had to do with Windows 8 upgrade from 7 ...

This issue got me moving away from Legacy support to UEFI only setup. I spent some good 12 Hrs re-installing everything (Using your UEFI installation thread) .. and everything now is running perfectly. Also, upgraded to Windows 8.1 which brought much more enhancements UI wise.

Nodens, you may need to update your OP (on the UEFI installation ) as Windows 8.1 has done away with WEI and instead users will need to run "winsat disk" command manually to make the OS recognize the SSDs.

    Thanks

    Hi Nodens,
I wanted to undergo a strange case that's happening to me. I've always used SataDriver and RST driver and TRIM has always worked properly. Yesterday I formatted to try ROM Legacy 3.8 and driver RSTe 3.8 and I see if the TRIM worked and it worked. I launched immediately after formatting. Performance of disks are bad and so I reformatted putting SataDriver 12.0.1936 and Driver 12.8.4.1000. I have not tested immediately after formatting but only after putting all programs. Running the Trimcheck, and give me this screen and I can not understand why.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I ran twice Winsat and performance are the same as I had before, the TRIM works or not?

This is my disk score: 055 (85)

    Thanks

WinSAT == WEI. It is still there but it is used internally only. Probably MS decided to remove the WEI frontend because it didn't make much sense (people were using it as a benchmark when it's not one. Actually MS was using it for their Games performance rating features). Since Microsoft also decided to kill their Games For Windows Live (GWFL) program (will happen in mid 2014), WEI as it was made no sense at all (I guess they're heading console only when it comes to games..since Steam is steadily breaking their gaming pseudomonopoly heh).

Win 8.1 is not officially out yet (will be in a few days) or I would have updated the OP. Thing is you should not run "winsat disk", you should run "winsat diskformal" or even better "winsat formal" to run the entire thing. Have in mind that Windows has a scheduled task to run "winsat formal" every week. On Win 8+, it's part of the maintenance scheduler that does other things as well.

    @Red Jhon:
Version 12 had issues with some windows drivers (for example the 12 matching driver did not enable TRIM for any drives). Try a newer Satadriver version. Also make sure via fsutil that notification is turned on. Just checking though, this is a UEFI installation right?
