Bios How To Config Rampage III Extreme - AR3E ?

Dear sirs,

I need alot of help as below;

AR3E at "Bios Setup";
1. How to select "Default Settings (F7)" ?
2. How to overclock at optimum settings at "Extreme Tweaker" and other sub-menus?

Sapphire ATI HD5970 how to overclock?

I am "green"; I hope anyone can help me with step-by-step instruction. I also welcome any url-link address or video to my concern.

OS: Win 7 Ultimate Pro x64
CPU: i7-950
RAM: OCZ Reaper DDR3-2000mhz (6GB=2GBX3pcs) OCZ3RPR2000LV6GK
VGA: Sapphire ATI HD5970
PSU: Antec TPQ-1200w Quattro Pro
CPU Liquid Cooler: Coolit Vantage
Casing: SuperFlower SF2000

what are you trying to achieve?

in the exit menu you can load optimal settings.

why not try cpu level up for starters.

Bios Default Settings: i7-950 is 3.06ghz is detected correctly, but OCZ Reaper DDR3-2000mhz is at 1066mhz!

Ai Overclock - Manual
Bclk - change from 100 to 133
CPU Ratio - 20
Dram Frequency 16xx =<2000 mhz (OSBD -BLUE; ...hardware failure). Test with Memtest v4.1 DOS Mode std test is fine but probe test failed instantly.

I do not know whether the new "OCZ Reaper DDR3-2000mhz (6GB=2GBX3pcs) OCZ3RPR2000LV6GK" is compatible with AR3E; is not listed in the manual or Asus supported QVL web online. I bought them yesterday from SLS Fuwell. Can they work perfectly 100%?

I do not know how to config the rams settings on AR3E. Please Help. Thank you.

try bumping ram volts up to 1.65v or 1.6v for 2000mhz

You need to set the memory voltage and timing to what is listed on the side of the module "1.65V 9-9-9-30 Timings"
The higher 2000MHz memory clock will be more difficult for the IMC "Memory Controller" and the IMC will require more voltage to remain stable. I suggest setting the IMC to 1.35V and checking for stability using Memtest X86
