I picked one of these up just to see how it goes and it dropped 15c off my temps ether that or my old H100 wasn't working 100% or some think , I did a 15 minute test one after the other and my CPU got up to 91c then popped a error in LinX on my H100 installed the H100i my cpu after 20 minutes didn't get over 72c and no errors in LinX also i tested using the same fans.

I have the 3930k overclocked to 4.6GHz and the H100 and the highest temp I reached using prime 95 was 75c. I think you might have had a problem with your H100

I think there was something wrong with your H100, my temps never got anywhere near that.

But never the less the H100i is marginally better cooling wise

I concur with the comment above. You likely had an issue with your original H100 or a bad mount with it.

H100 on a 3960x @ 4.8ghz gets to low 80's here.

I did have a h100 the had failed. The pump would run intermittent and temps would

I don't have any H100 coolers (I do believe it's just a joke comparing to a good custom made H2O) but newermind.
I guess that pump of this cooler is connected as a fan, and you probably like to connect it to CPU fan pin.
The trick is that on RIVE, CPU (and optional CPU) fan pins are using qfan (or something alike) and this crap couldn't be disabled (at least I wasn't able to do it).
I have disabled qfan in BIOS but my pump does around 1600rpm while connected to CPU fan pin and around 2100rpm while connected to chassis fan pin.

Also with my custom H2O I have my 3930k's (4.6 v1.37) hottest core's temp under LinX test is 62C (25C ambient):D

I don't think anyone was really comparing the h100 to a custom water loop. And the price/performance of the h100 it is hard to beat. A custom water loop isn't gong to buy me much besides looks and maybe a few degrees that means nothing in terms of performance. For what is worth the h100 is a great product for people not comfortable with the cost or installing a custom loop in there system.

Just focus on "qfan" part of my previous post)

BTW 15 degrees isn't actually few. It's a lot. And it makes a difference if you do some overclock.
And custom loop is useful not as a CPU cooling but as a whole system cooling.

and you dam right, aside if no other one notice the OP as 3 x GPU in that case, and now that we know the room is at 32'C , I will say the H100 is under power in that 600T case with 3 GPU , especially if you set the pump on the CPU header. I don't know where you live, but if that room temp get hotter , you are a good candidate for a real WC system, with block on your GPU too, and a better case for it.
