    Without a doubt, it's amazing.

But I wanna ask few things:
Seems that Nvidia has released some new drivers pack with mad performance boost that makes crappy GTX680 rise above mighty HD7970 or what?

Previously, kingpin's GTX680 submission was the only one that could compare with 7970, and as I know, he used some unique "special made" hardware to reach this score. And now you guys have 1070 drivers those make you rise for almost 10k GPU score.
I don't ask you to answer this question) Just things I've noticed.

For average people the 310 drivers will get you about 2000 points in Vantage because of LOD access, for me with msi Lightnings, these drivers hurt my overclocking more than any gain, where the Lightnings LN2 bios would lock the overclock at what you set in AB the 310 drivers would allow the card to downclock and fluctuate. I have stopped benching since the competition has ended, so I haven't looked into it since. I don;t have any special bios's to play with or have not made any hard mods to my cards. And I don't use any extreme cooling. That is just my experience, obviously I'm not an extreme bencher but thought I would share anyway, the one in a hundred run as 8 pack mentions does happen, hard to explain and harder to duplicate

I just wounder. Few months ago Vantage top20 list was filled with 7970's submissions only. 680 was far behind.
How could it gain so big performance boost?

PS 80k Pack, which temps have you reached under cascade?

when the 680 was first released the drivers had not matured, this always happens, right near the release of the next gen cards the drivers have matured much more than when they were released.

The GT2 run was deemed to be bugged. Andre also had a bugged run removed. It happens in benching guys. Every 100 runs there is one weird one that comes out wrong. Some times it is not noticed until later. And at the bleeding edge of benching where 8 Pack is focused on it is all the more likely that a bugged run can happen. System that cold and that overclocked are going to mess with the OS and the registry. So bugged runs do happen.

I think 8 Pack still has the number two score.
