    overclocking 3610qm

Has anyone tried this yet? What program have you used? I tried using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility but I never go higher than 3.28ghz during stress tests. Any help would be welcomed.

    One of them is:

    http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...g-utility.html

Can not find any other utilities for which there is a confirmation that they work.

I know that SetFSB was once popular but I do not know whether it works for the ASUS gaming series of laptops.

Intel extreme tuning utility is the only way to overclock your intel cpu..

So far the 3610qm has a stable clock of 105Mhz which is around 3.5Ghz. Really helps with certain games and 1080p Video rendering

ok so i downloaded Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. I set the reference clock to 105. However, after doing stress test, the clock never goes above 3.2 ghz. Is there something else i have to do other than move the reference clock up?

hi there and hey ...i too tried the intel xtu on my g75 vw w/ i7 3630 qm it will bump up to 3.33 ghz max get a score of 601 on there benchmark
however once i goto compare my score it says this was on a system that does not support overclocking ...event though it shows my cpu at 3543mhz also note that all other options in manual tuning are disabled greyed out so the only change you can make is to the reference clock
