Considering what I paid for my RIVE MB, yes, I think they should give me a detailed list of all changes in every bios release. That's why I paid top dollar for a MB in the first place.

Sign : I need more details than Improved Stability

Personal Comment : Really ? You need us to tell you that "Improved Stability" is not an appropriate release note ? Worst part is, some of those updates would require specific instructions. 3303 MEI upgrade comes to mind (had to do it with R4E.cap and that button thing) , as well as 3404 TRIM support. It's not just that you're adding more stuff, it's that getting it to work is actually a hassle ! Watching the community "investigate" your bios updates in the forums is getting old !

Sorry... Had to get it out.

Intellectual property/patent related stuff won't ever be in a changelog by any company and whatever product. This is the main reason changelogs are so.. lacking. If (I can't stress "if" enough) any change is made into the changelog policy then it can only include non-IP stuff. Everyone should understand this.

That would be nice. I have no idea what Bios I want to install. I don't like working on a new overclock every new Bios. If I only new what was changed maybe I could make my own choice weather I want to update and retest my overclock, instead of updating every single time because of some unknown improved stability.

I wish I could choose the weather, the snow is bucketing down here in London.

But on a serious note I completely agree, you're much less likely to upgrade your BIOS if the "improved stability" is for some feature or piece of hardward you don't use. At the moment, there's no way of telling if any specific BIOS would offer you any benefit at all.
