    I use my Pheobus with my Razor Tiamat 7.1 and it sounds awesome. I'm currently using the beta driver, I've never had any problems with the driver, the card or with the install. All I did was adjust my settings to where I liked it any everything was all good.

    AEC for some reason is installed on the realtek on-board sound for the Maximus formula, but not in a top of line card that costs nearly $300 ...
    If it worked with vent, I would say grab it, but if you use coms, forget it.
    I use Vent and play games with the card and I don't have that issue

    I don't either if I use onboard sound, but with Phoebus instantly it starts streaming everything I hear in my headphones.
