    I also see this is the only recommended ram at 2400 for the MOBO guess I should have looked considering I have what I would think is great ram cant break past 1666 without error not cool lol

    I have that stupid OS based AI suite that comes with the ROG board that might while in the background be taking readings. I guess I can try to quit that and try it. Very good point but other then that no

    That's the sensor from AI Suite II. You can go into the program and raise the temperature limit or disable it. Or even better yet, remove AI Suite II. It causes a lot of problems later on.

    The file at the link is broken I fully uninstalled from my system and it is still present after restart

    OK well a second uninstall fully uninstalled anything visibly I don't know about the cleaner zip. I am running Windows 8 if that has anything to do with it and it gives a invalid archive error and wont even open

    I have not received the error again after uninstalling everything. For some reason i have done many custom builds this one just feels like something is off. Like random times when i boot up screen stays black monitor light green system looks fine like its running. I had one time system froze on a game with my ram on keyboard displaying 100% cpu was 0% i guess just mess around a lil. The ram is dissapointing since i like a fool spent more on good ram to not be able to max it at all

    You'll find a Memtest86+ guide written by a friend of mines in my signature. You can follow it to test each stick of RAM if you suspect that something is wrong with them. lol
