you can try restart your pc and when POST spam your esc key / f2 key; if it's not working, goto your active power plan and disable fast startup.

here's the same question you've got from me the other day. rewben you should really post a thread about this and someone should make it sticky (this sounds so wrong ) ! It will save you a bunch of typing rewben. And as MS changed their ways with win 8 I guess a bunch of people will ask about this.

No offence, but I suggest you ignore ASUS max memory specs for the G75 and go for 32GB, that is if you want to open it up to repopulate the two slots under the keyboard. I have had 32GB running in my G74 for over a year now, and its been the most stable machine I have ever owned, not to mention the highest performing. My timings are 1333MHz at 9-9-9-24. You may have to settle for looser timings if you are planning to put in 1600MHz stuff.

I don't think those exist yet. As to timings, if you don't get aggressive, you shouldn't have too many problems.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

We now have 178 people whose systems will not break! Yippee!

Yeah, I'm waiting for those too! You can get 1x16GB DDR3 sticks now for desktops/servers,
    http://ncix.com/products/?sku=78668&...cture=Kingston

so I imagine 1x16GB SODIMMs aren't that far off.
