Looking for a controller,not sure which? Using for playing older pc games on steam

I'm looking to purchase a controller so I can play some old console games that steam has. GTA San Andreas/Nights and games like that. FPS games will not be played with it, so I don't need some 200+ controller with tons of features or whatever. I'm I able to plug a xbox 360/play station controller into my pc via adapter? Thank you

those afterglow ones are pretty good, u can get the led color to match your rig setup and they come in both ps3 and xbox varieties, both are usb and windows picks them up and installs automatically

and WalMart sells them so they are pretty easy to get

yea ive been using the xbox controller for a while now.. seems todo the job and works in all the games ive tried 🙂
