I'm just a volunteer but I'll take a stab.
1) Tapatalk has been discussed as a possibility to help out the mobile folks. It may take quite some time before this gets implemented though as the IT staff that maintain this site have a ton of things that need to be done.
2) The basic theme will remain the same because it's part of the ROG branding. This is straight from ASUS.
3) My personal opinion on this one (nothing to do with ASUS) is that avatars should not dominate the layout. They are useful as a means of quickly identifying the author as you are reading through a thread but they should take a back seat to the text of our posts because that is what is important. Oversized avatars & signatures just get in the way of reading the actual text. Also, huge avatars wouldn't work well with your request for mobile support.
