    gtx 670m why so much vram

    hi i have the asus g75vw gtx 670m can any one tell me why it has so much vram because ive only ever used about half of it well not even that? is there any way to force it to use more?

    Quite a few folks use their laptops to drive more than one monitor, or to game using the laptop on a huge res screen. Newer games need the vmem to drive those multi monitor systems or super big res screens. That is why I guess.

    oh right so can i run dual screen with this beast then silly me didnt think of that. it has display port, hdmi, vga so possible to run 2 to 3 screns then?

    Yeah I think the number of screens is dependant on the make and model of the vga used. Not so sure how many that particular vga can run, but it should be on the product page.

    I know on my laptop which has a 7970 vga I can run 3 at once.
