Hey all
Quite strange I fitted my new cooler a NZXT x60 kraken 🙂 very pleased but I touched nothing else now my second card has disappeared or has error 43 in device manager.
Weirdly though when it's gone from windows as in wont even find in a device scan! In bios it shows up all the time. Any ideas?

How will that stop windows detecting my second graphics card though?

Because if you haven't touched anything else, I can only think of two reasons why you would be having this problem: an incorrect physical installation or a driver problem/conflct. Since the physical installation is easier to diagnose, go verify your connections. Make sure the 3 pin cable and the usb cable are correctly connected to their respective headers.

They are and not changed anything, I'm hoping now it's not the pcie slot 😞 I've already rma'd a chvf before this board and although I love them the problems from them are too numerous!!
Btw I've redone bios etc in the meantime aswell the card still is there in bios but not windows at all, or if it does after a format first couple of boots it's on error 43 before going.

If you tried to reseat the graphics cards... well I recently found that only a Windows re-install will help... - leave in both of your cards and reinstall the OS... before you would install the drivers, Device Manager will show you the same Code, but it will be fixed after the drivers gets on... at least that's how I fixed mine... (can not give an explanation other than the OS is getting messed up over time)

Nope still same problem I put a gt 430 in any slot and it works plus with one gtx560 any combo yep even all three in bios fine but that second gtx560 will not work in windows! In so lost is it the board or the card?

Have you re-installed the OS with all the cards you want to use inserted? Or you're trying to use a previous installation?

Sorry for persisting on this so much, but I recently had very similar problems on my RIVE and two HD7970s... the second one was giving that damn Code #43...

I have tried both cards individually in all the slots - and they were working perfectly... the problem was when I tried to use two of them...

The cards were OK as they were working on two other mobos (R3E and CHVZ), but not on RIVE... - btw, have you tried that VGA setup on other mobo?
