G74SX: HD occasionally not being recognised

Heyas,

I have an occasional issue with my G74SX: About 50% of the time, the system does not recognize my boot drive. After a few power cycles, it does come back and all is well. Drive itself checks out OK. Any ideas? Perhaps a ribbon cable replacement is in the cards for me? Anyone else see this issue?

i think you will check cable if you are suring HDD is good.

Thanks Mike. I re-seated the cable on both ends and for now it seems to have corrected the issue.
