Actually i'm selling you the idea. If G series come with dual graphic you will not go for it? Why not?

    Yep yep!

I regret getting dual 680m on my laptop.

The extra requirements for SLI remove any portability from the units

oh.. that is not what i want totally :/

maybe that's what a 'desktop replacement' means. i bet the power adapter must be very powerful, too.

Every time a new G7X comes out, ASUS makes some thing wrong.
I just hope for the next model:
    -(Keeping) quite fans, good quality.
-A matte ore better a semi-matte display from ONE good manufacturer. No more displaylottery and no more cheap anti-glare coating with bad looking "dirty" screens.
-Accessability to all RAM-Slots and also the CPU and GPU-cooling system without disassembling the whole unit.
    -Dualband Wireless
-Separate F-Keys an multi-media buttons. Why the funk do they have to use crappy Fn-Keys when you could play football on the not used areas of the 17" notebook.
-Nice to have: built in TV

    AND: LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMERS!
