crosshair v formula-z wont fix into a coolmaster haf x

im not sure why but the stand offs dont match the board at all. im upgrading from crosshair v formula to formula-z. any ideas?

As far as I know, they measure the same. Which of the 9 standoffs doesn't match? If possible can you take a picture and upload it?

if you are referring to the xtra long stand off in the middle of the case, compared to the rest?

That one is for making life a little more easy, when installing the board..

But you can swap that one, for a stand off with inner- thread, if you want..

Yes, its about squeezing it right.. No brute force..

Check the backplate, it can get miss aligned, and if so.. the board dont fit so good..

make sure it is installed properly backplate = I/O plate..

Sorry it took so long to reply, i got the system built and i have been having with BSOD. I just switched the ram mods with the old ones to see if that will help.
