This is the problem with Egg, when you return something they don't even test it and sell it back as open box and sometime as new stuff. Usually when you have a problem like this, you go on Eggxpert forum and you open a tread , they then fix it because they don't like bad press. 2 weeks agp they send me 2 WD disk that was obviouly drop on the floor, both was DOA, I contact WD, they send me 2 new one and a label to return the drive to them.
Now take picture of your baord before send it to Egg, Make sure to take ojne with the plastic cover off and on over the CPU socket, because they have 2 or 3 treads over 20 pages on Hard OCp of peoples like you who return boards and have a huge line of bents pins on the socket, something done with a screwdriver if you ask me. Egg always blame the customer for it or ask you to clam the shipper, like is something like that can happen on shipping.
here the AHrd OCP tread, I'm sure they have a bigger one someplace

Hi man have not seen you on tech power up lately. I just posted a message regarding price gouging by Asus on the Crosshairs V Formula Z.
The price has gone up everywhere by $50. That is not justifiable at all. It is time for people to send emails complaining about the ripoff to Asus. They are imitating the banksters now. Well I say screw them. I was seriously planning to upgrade my Cross hairs V to a Formula Z. But I will not accept highway robbery.
