    If you take into account that once 680 was launched, the 580 was withdrawn from the market, that could also mean that once 780 is out , there will be no 680 to buy at all.

    binned teslas make sense. but its the gk110 chip isnt it? it's finally here. after years of waiting. I think the question will be whether or not the 780 will be an upgrade or a downgrade. heard 700series was soon. Actually some 730s are out for notebooks and I know the radeon 8760 is available in an acer predator

    Yes. One would be overkill. You can easily max out any game (> 30fps at 60Hz) with a 670 at that resolution. If you are doing 3D with a 120Hz monitor the 670 would then break a sweat. :-)

    I was planing to buy VGA what make me curious if any new VGA are coming because NVIDIA and ATI both most of the high end card are discontinue. Should i wait?

    ati high end cards are not discontined, ATI 7990 will just you 999.99, so it comes down to how much you want to spend
