I have 2 680's 4gb cards, either want 3 led 1920x1080 or 1 1440p monitor, which is best? also will 3 1080 led's hold fps back vs 1440p?

I would suggest going with a 1440P over tri monitor. The problem is not alot of games run at that insane resolution of having tri monitor. The other problem is space, you need alot of it to do unless you get a tri monitor mount and that adds more cost. I tried the tri monitor setup and had to get a bigger desk as my L shape wasn't long enough. Some of my game will only run on one monitor, and some runs nice on all 3 monitor. The reason why I stop was, I was getting motion sickness. There's just too much things to look at when running that many monitors. Some love tri monitor, others like me can't adjust to it.

If you multi task alot having more monitors is great. If you play alot of fps instead of getting 3 monitors you could always go beast mode and get a 144hz monitor. After using a multi monitor setup I'll never go back to just using one.
