Sandro, you may get similar results just opening your case. I believe that most of the temp difference ws just having a case open, no matter which side. So please try that, remove the fan and open the other side and see what temps you get. Then put the right door back on and see what temps you get. You seen how we adjusted the cooling in Madumi's case (he's due back soon now), we could do something similar for you. But the problem is, will it be enough to let you get to 4.7? IDK. It could be a task in vain. That's why I didn't suggest it before. And will 4.7 be enough to warrant the trouble?

Do you have two fans in the bottom of your case?

On the issue of summer: You say it gets 13C hotter in summer? Well that will result in 13C higher computer temperatures. It is calculable. But here's the thing: Your CPU core temps will not reach the temps you are testing at, when running everyday applications/games. If you had a temperature logging application for CPU you could run such applications and see how hot it gets. Then simply add 13C. But you will find this is probably also very safe temperature at your current OC. FYI.

Hei..HalloweenWeed ... answer in order starting from the last post:
I too think that this is certainly my summer temp Idle current of 27-28 ° C will become to 38-40 ° C, and that if running LINX will be 78-80C ° for which they are ready to go back to 44-45X offset +0.010 just it happen.
With regard to-5C with the fan under the CPU, in fact the effect exists but is about 3C ° because 2 are caused by only the right panel open! .. (you are very strong!)
For the left panel, however, if I open it I get a small negative effect because this panel has a 28 cm fan 700 rpm!
About the tread Madumi I remember his cabinet messed up by a bunch of messy cables and I also remember that I went to a disagreement with a member of the forum "gold belt" which claimed that the convective flow from the bottom to up was irrelevant (.. . always disagree!), do not remember anything else. Regarding my assembly if you can see on my last photo, i followd your suggerst and have changed some cable position.
Finally, bottom my case there is only one fan 14 cm-1600rpm, unfortunately with dust filter otherwise my PC would be like a dump, but there is room for two.
I remind you that I could not translate well the phrase ....post me in other words privately.
"But here's the thing WhitePaw: I have seen your Recommendations on other threads, and you have a totally different style than OC I do, I might say a style all your own. So if you think you can get Sandro's OC higher, I would really love to see That, maybe I could learn something too. What do you say, Sandro, 'are you game' for it too? ('are you game' is an Inglese saying meaning 'are you willing' or 'do you want to play?')"My greetings

    HI Snakeyes,
unfortunately with a proof that HalloweenWeed has just suggested to me the difference is only 3 ° C, but is already something!
Over my VRM was just the place for the small tangential fan ex- ASUS R2E and were faced with the fact that there a few months ago, not much but the sensor placed on the VRM tells me that at full load the temp. of VRM is 36 ° C (... in the winter!)
I could not put the fans such as those provided by Corsair for its DDR because my Power Supply has at the top of case.
Now due to the desperation, that my PC is full of fans! Crazy things!
    Greetings snakeyes.

Do you have an exhaust fan in the top of your case? The Thermaltake web site does not say there is a fan mount for a top fan, is that correct?
Perhaps consider a second intake fan in the bottom of your case.

    No HalloweenWeed,
at the top there is a place for a fan of 12 or 14 cm (in the case there are already holes and I have used them with 14 cm fan 1900 rpm, controlled by Reobus Zalman (of course, it is almost always at 1300 rpm otherwise makes noise ), but if I turn it off, the temp. cores and all the houses increased by more than 5 ° C (already tested).
Instead I had not thought of doubling bottom fan .... but I'll do it as soon as possible and if it will take effect i keep it in my PC ....
so i will consume more power for the fans than for the CPU!

    Hi Inquisitor,
I've never used Prime 95 to test stability but always i use IBT (20 steps) and immediately after Linx (20 steps), just because having always used these prgms, I have a point of comparison with the times needed and with the Gflops to see if there are improvements or not.
If "maximum safe temp for 3930k" you mean the temp. beyond which a safety intervenes to block
the device, this value is 80 ° C. I never came to this value during any test .. but at 75 ° C is often only for a moment, 73 C° very often.
Thank you for your question, what is it due?
    Greetings.

make sure to clean your radiator often I was having heat issues till i cleaned all my dust screens. I personally have decided to take a break on any crazy overclocking or playing with linx till the weather is cool my clock still does great doing daily tasks
